Amnesie urbane

E' importante sottolineare il carattere autorappresentativo della forma ad arcipelago frattale: la nostra civiltà l'ha costruita da sola per definire la propria immagine indipendentemente dalle teorie degli architetti e degli urbanisti. Spazi vuoti che ne determinano la figura sono i luoghi che più di ogni altro rappresentano la nostra civiltà nel suo divenire inconscio e molteplice.
Queste amnesie urbane non sono solo in attesa di essere riempite di cose, ma sono spazi vivi da riempire di significati. Non si tratta dunque di una non-città da trasformare in città, ma di una città parallela con dinamiche e strutture proprie che devono ancora essere comprese.

It's important to point out how the 'fractal archipelago' form is self-representative: our civilization builded that form by herself to define her own appearance regardless of architects and city planners theories. The empty spaces which determine her shape are the places which show more than anything else our civilization as changing in unconscious and manifold ways.
These urban amnesias are not only waiting to be filled with things, but they are alive spaces to be filled with meanings. We are not talking about a non-city to be transformed into a city, but about a parallel city with dynamics and structures of her own which still have to be understood.
